Plus Fitness Health Clubs has been successfully trading in the Australian fitness industry for 14 years. More recently Australian Fitness Management Pty Ltd, the owner of the brand, Plus Fitness Health Clubs and Plus Fitness 24/7 has commenced franchising their business models to great success.


Recognising an opportunity to establish our brands in the Asia Pacific region we are currently seeking master Franchisees in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan. Alternately we are seeking Franchisees that would have aggressive growth plans for a multi site operation in the region, either self funded or in association with a local or regional equity partner.


We have been proactively approaching existing health club operators and commercial real estate agents in a number of Asian countries establishing relationships and suitable locations for both our proven and successful Business Franchise Models.


Our two Directors Nigel Miller and John Fuller, have a combined 35 years industry experience. They are well reputed in Australia fitness industry for their professionalism, ethical approach to business, passion and resulting success as both Franchisors and Health Club Owners.


As a brief overview we operate two Business Franchise Models that are growing steadily in the Australian Fitness Industry. These are Plus Fitness Health Club Business Franchise Model and our Plus Fitness 24/7 Business Franchise Model. The Health Club Model we categories as a ‘traditional gym’ - that being a business that provides a broad range of services that suits the requirements of all consumers.


Whereas up until only five years ago this was the mainstream in the fitness industry in Australia (and globally) it has fast been challenged by a range of other business models in the industry. As a result, a large percentage of independent ‘traditional gyms’ across Australia, the UK and the US have now either shut down or been sold to Franchise groups or larger companies.


This industry shift created an opportunity for Plus Fitness and we have been busy purchasing, or assisting Franchisees with the purchase and establishment of Health Clubs to be franchised under our Plus Fitness Health Clubs banner. We have fast cornered the once mainstream ‘traditional gym’ as our ‘niche’ and along with our Franchisees we are continuing to grow and prosper as a result.

It offers franchisees a low start up cost, true absenteeism business that breaks even in a maximum of six weeks. With state of the art automated entry system access control and 24 hour security monitoring, a Plus Fitness 24/7 offers consumes that are ‘all about the workout’ a low cost option to exercise. Operational costs are greatly reduced as a result of low to no staffing costs removing the equivalent of up to 40% of a ‘traditional gyms’ operating expenses.


In addition to this we also operate one of Australia’s leading Fitness Industry Staff Training and Consultancy Businesses, Quantum Training Solutions. Quantum Training Solutions provides a wide range of industry specific staff and manager training and management consulting services to over 20 Health Clubs and Local Government Leisure Centres in Australia. Our staff training is well reputed for its professional presentation, acceptance by staff and the immediate impact it has on our clients businesses. We also statistically measure the Sales and Retention KPI’s of all clients and benchmark these against the rest of the industry on a monthly basis.


The resulting outcome is a monthly Balanced Score Card and Recommendations Report that proves crucial in the growth of clients' businesses. More recently we took one of Sydney’s Government Fitness Facilities and assisted them in growing its gym membership base from 330 members to 1100 members in just three months. Conclusive proof of the effectiveness of our systems and support across our entire family of fitness industry businesses.
