All 194 clubs across Australia now industry recognised

A focus on driving industry leadership and a commitment to getting more people physically active has seen Plus Fitness and its 194 locations across Australia join AUSactive as group business members, elevating their position in the health and fitness industry.

Plus Fitness Director, Gordon Martin, said the business decided to join AUSactive as the peak body for the exercise and active health sector to support its continued growth and awareness while also being part of a movement to get more people active.

“AUSactive provides valuable services, education, and advocacy for exercise professionals, businesses, and students. By partnering with AUSactive, Plus Fitness aims to benefit from their expertise in driving the development of best practices, industry standards, and continuing education, aligning with Plus Fitness's goal to activate Australians to move more,” Mr Martin said.

“Working together will help strengthen our brand and empower our franchisees to succeed. Plus Fitness is proud to be part of an industry that is continuing to evolve and grow. We play an important role in getting more Australians more active and continuing to champion this alongside AUSactive is vital.

AUSactive CEO Barrie Elvish said he was thrilled to welcome Plus Fitness and its franchisees as business members.

Mr Martin said Plus Fitness was continuing grow and expand it’s offering to attract more members and franchisees.

We're targeting new territories in Australia and key international markets, with the target of 300+ locations being supported by strategic partnerships and robust support for franchisees,” Mr Martin said.

“Additionally, we're developing a centralised digital platform, the Digital HUB, to streamline operations and provide franchisees with essential resources.”
