Hi! My name’s Kass – I’m a Qualified Personal Trainer & ESSA-Accredited Exercise Physiologist. I have been training for 7 years now, and have been in the health and fitness industry for 5 years. In this time I have worked with a range of clients, young and old, whose goals range from weight loss and strength to rehabilitation and athletic development and performance.
Growing up, I was never an athletic or sporty child, but when my older brother started going to the gym, I decided to join him (as you do, growing up with older siblings as role models!). My training goals started off as wanting to be more ‘fit’ – to me that meant losing weight as I wasn’t very active either. Eventually I decided to hire a personal trainer, and I was introduced to the world of powerlifting. My goals then shifted from weight loss to strength, and I have since competed in a few powerlifting competitions. My best competition totals are 115kg squat, 55kg bench and 117.5kg deadlift.
In the time I spent focusing on building my strength, I started to let my weight get the better of me – especially with the stress of uni and life in general. I had become comfortable with where I was at, until I realised it wasn’t truly where I wanted to be. I decided to take part in a 10 week challenge, and with that I lost 5kg. A huge milestone for me was hitting 62kg, which was the weight I initially started training at when I had set goals to lose weight. I have since taken up bodybuilding, and competed in the 2019 INBA NSW State Titles, where I placed 1st in Bikini 1st Timers and Open, and 2nd in Bikini Novice & Overall.
I am passionate about lifestyle interventions and behaviour change for living a healthy, active lifestyle. I no longer see physical activity/exercise as a chore and my overall self-confidence has improved greatly. I feel very fortunate to be in a position where I have the ability and knowledge to guide people on this path also.
I have been lucky enough to have worked with other experienced and knowledgeable coaches in their respective fields, and I have no doubt that without their help I wouldn’t have been able to achieve these goals – I have tried many times in the past. Hi, my name is Gary! I’m a Personal Trainer and Level 1 S&C Coach with experience in working with clients in fat loss, muscle gain and strength gain.
Having done resistance-based training for 5 years, I first began with bodybuilding/hypertrophy type training when starting out and then transitioned into powerlifting, a more strength orientated sport.
My journey in Powerlifting dates back to 2015 through the guidance of my older brother. I competed and took out 1st place in multiple local and National level competition as well as take out multiple National Sub-Junior records within Australia in the under 59kg division and as part of that journey, I also had the privilege to be invited to compete Internationally to represent Australia in my age and weight class. My best lifts are currently a 170kg squat, 102.5kg bench and 170kg deadlift at 62kg bodyweight.
I am currently redirecting my focus to a bodybuilding approach towards training to work on my body composition changes which I find highly rewarding. Having gone through my own 10 week transformation recently and losing 4kg from 63kg down to 59kg. This is an experience in its own and I want to take the things I’ve learnt over the years, not only from my journey but also having applied it with my clients to further educate the masses. Not just the ability to achieve results but the joy that it brings, the confidence that follows and just being able to help clients build better a better lifestyle by educating them educating them on making better choices and building positive new habits towards change.

Fantastic place to train. Has all the necessary equipment to train all muscle groups. Amazing and the friendliest staff. I've been going there for almost 2 years and it's been an amazing experience. Everything is also so clean and there aren't any weights

Awesome place to train. Staff members are friendly and keep the place tidy. Great range of equipment and the weights are always arranged neatly!

Friendly and helpful staff, everything is always put back and gym is always clean. Out of all the plus gyms I've been around the area Fairfield really makes use of what it has well despite the small size.
