X-CELL Classes are short 30 minute sessions that are included as part of a gym and classes membership here at Plus Fitness. X-CELL classes are a great way to socialise with other members and achieve your fitness goals while being motivated by qualified fitness professionals as you train. Our X-CELL classes cater to any fitness level in groups of four to twelve people.
Classes on Demand allows you to take a class whenever you choose, 24/7 with friends or on your own. Simply select your favourite class from over 16 styles using our touch screen class kiosk and enjoy a great rang of classes including yoga, indoor cycling to high intensity aerobics. With our Classes on Demand there really is a class to suit everyone and whenever it suits your busy lifestyle. Take a class and feel the difference!

To all our members and potential members, with the new years classes and PT fast approaching its time as trainers we introduce ourselves, who we are, what we do, and let you all know a little about our lives away from the gym.
Jackie Kelly:
My name is Jackie and I have been a Personal Trainer for almost 2 years. I have always been into health and fitness playing a range of sports growing up including Touch Football, Rugby, Athletics and Swimming.
My amazing family & friends have influenced me immensely through lifelong commitment to various sports such as professional Sprinting, Representative Rugby, Softball, Rollerblading and elite level Body Building. It is through these experiences that I sparked a curiosity for the way the human body adapts to different styles of training and different disciplines.
Outside of the gym I'm a mum to 3 amazing kids. It was through having children and stepping back from a lot of the sport I had been playing that I found myself feeling uncomfortable and needing to get back into fitness. Needing help, I hired a PT and began my own journey back to a healthier place, sparking my love for fitness once again, which led me to studying to become a Trainer myself. I wanted to bring my love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle to as many people as i could.
As a trainer i specialise in Weight loss, Group training, HIIT and strength training and am currently studying a cluster of courses that work towards me becoming a Master in Functional Training.
Whilst my personal preference when training myself is Strength Training, when training my clients, I take each individuals needs and abilities and work with them, pushing them towards their goals whilst teaching them to listen to their bodies and learn to work outside their comfort zones.
Having been on both sides, I have a greater understanding of the struggles that people face from needing to lose weight, dealing with injuries and also training for an event or just trying to improve fitness. I always try and work on the mindset that comes along with a lifestyle change as well as the physical and nutritional side of things.
In my Group Fitness classes I design each workout to get the most out of every member in a short amount of time. Each workout can be altered for any fitness level and any restrictions or limitations people have, making all classes suitable for every member. You will get a mix of bodyweight, weighted and cardio based exercises depending on which classes you attend. All of them aimed at working hard and having fun while you get fit.
