Another Plus Fitness for Melbourne!

 Plus Fitness 24/7 Fitzroy has opened its doors today making it the 12th Plus Fitness to open in Victoria and the 190th globally for the Australian owned gym group.

The inner Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy is well known for its street art, music scene and bohemian vibe. This makes it very fitting that Franchisees Barry and Patrick Armstrong have located their Plus Fitness 24/7 in a restored, heritage listed building in the heart of this bustling cultural hub. Following what has been a challenging yet rewarding project for Barry, Patrick and the team at Plus Fitness Head Office, it is very rewarding to see the gym open today with over 150 members.

When asked what it meant to the guys to be opening their first Plus Fitness today, Patrick had this to say; “As a family we are really excited to be opening Plus Fitness Fitzroy today. My Mum, Dad and Brother have all been on site helping to get the club ready for the big reveal. It has been a long and eventful process with council and construction but we are finally there. The biggest highlight has been working with the team on site and the buy back from locals has been great. I also would like to say a big thank you to the team at Plus Fitness Head Office. Working with them all has been an authentic and a non-corporate experience which has really assisted us in getting us to where we are today with the club”.
