Sally Pearson OAM is one of Australia’s greatest Olympians and is the fifth fastest 100m hurdler in history. At the 2012 London Olympic Games she became just the 10th female Australian track athlete to win a gold medal, smashing the Olympic record in the process. Sally Pearson also won the Gold medal in the 100 metres hurdles at the 2017 World Championships in London.
Sally Pearson has represented Plus Fitness as one of their key Brand Ambassadors since 2015. During this time she has appeared on a range of exercise videos filmed by the leading gym chain which are broadcasted on both their digital platforms and internal TV Network. Sally also continues to promote the brand in a range of marketing initiatives including both radio, print and online activations. The self-coached Australian legend of the track also has a home based training facility that was fitted out by Plus Fitness and is used by Sally on a daily basis as part of her gruelling training regime.
Sally Pearson had this to say about her relationship with Plus Fitness
“I am excited to be continuing my relationship with Plus Fitness and it has been a lot of fun representing this great Australian brand for the past three years. Having been a professional athlete for most of my life I know what it takes to train hard but more importantly what can be achieved in every aspect of your life when you commit to exercise and fitness.
This is why this partnership is so good as it allows me to further promote exercise and fitness to the community alongside the passionate and dedicated team at Plus Fitness.”.
Franchisors Nigel Miller had the following to say, “We are excited to have extended our relationship with Sally and have always really enjoyed working with her. Sally’s passion and enthusiasm is contagious and really reflects well with our brand principles. Her commitment to her daily training, preparation for events, her professionalism and her dedication to excellence has always resonated with us. A key element to the Plus Fitness brand is about creating a greater awareness of the benefits of regular exercise whilst making the gym as accessible to as many people as possible, something Sally shares the same beliefs in. We are also looking forward to continuing to play our part in helping Sally continue to represent Australia to the very best of her ability.”
Franchisors John Fuller and Nigel Miller launched the 24 hour gym franchise brand, ‘Plus Fitness 24/7’ in 2011 following the brand previously trading in the more traditional Health Club arena for fifteen years prior to that. Now with over 200 gyms across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, Plus Fitness still continues to open a new gym on average every 21 days.
Plus Fitness provides their members with the ultimate in flexibility with their ‘no lock in contracts’, affordable range of membership, great range of classes plus unlimited 24/7 access to all of their gyms, anywhere in the world.
