Kelly Racing (previously Nissan Motorsport) has today revealed the strong, bold Plus Fitness Branding that Andre Heimgartner will take into the 2019 Supercars Championship, kicking off at the Adelaide 500 this weekend.

This represents the second-consecutive season that the National Gym chain, Plus Fitness have appeared as naming-rights sponsors of the Heimgartner driven, Kelly Racing Car #7. Heimgartner’s entry will also carry a major association with leading Australian media agency 360 Degree Marketing Group, while Australian-made whisky brand NED Whisky will also feature prominently on his car for the famous Adelaide 500 event.

Heimgartner enjoyed a strong 2018 season, finishing the year with three consecutive top 10 results, including two appearances in the top 10 shootouts and finishing the season with a career best 6th position in the Newcastle 500.

The new-for-2019 livery has already been well received by the fans and the Media and the car is ready for Heimgartner to hit the circuit for the first time Thursday 28th, with the first practice session being held in twilight conditions, starting at 5:30pm local time.

“I’m very excited for the 2019 season, and I can’t wait to hit the track in the new-look Plus Fitness Nissan,” said Andre Heimgartner. “Kelly Racing and I have developed a very good relationship with Plus Fitness, 360 Degree Marketing Group and our other supporters, and our aim is to reward them with some really strong results. This is one of the best looking cars I’ve ever raced, but we all know that the best looking race cars are fast ones, and that is where our focus is at. Adelaide is such a special race track. It has all its Formula 1 history, and has a very rich Supercars past too. It’s one of those races that everyone wants to win, and being the start of the new season, a good result here can kick start your year.”

“Plus Fitness is proud to extend its support of the #7 Supercar in association with our media partners 360DMG and to celebrate our 5th year of sponsorship at the top of Australian Motorsport. To stand alongside and to rub shoulders with some of Australia’s most iconic brands brings great exposure and credibility to Plus Fitness nationally and to see interest in Supercars continue to grow brings great value to our Franchisees. Supercar Sponsorship not only opens up a whole new market to Plus Fitness including new Franchisees and members it also allows us to work alongside a great bunch of hard working people at Kelly Racing and Andre Heimgartner who we have no doubts will continue to produce great results in the upcoming Supercar season.

Nick Ryan
Kelly Racing General Manager

We are proud to continue our relationship with both Plus Fitness and 360 Degree Marketing Group in to the 2019 season. We established a terrific partnership last year and it is always pleasing to have a partner that is very active around the association, such as was seen with the support of the BCNA charity relationship at Newcastle with broad fundraising efforts. Plus Fitness’ commitment to motorsport over many years has been significant and they deserve all the recognition for supporting the sport that we all love. We look forward to representing both brands on track as well as working closely with the network of over 200 Plus Fitness gyms around Australia, New Zealand and Asia throughout the year.
