With less than a week to go until the championship decider and grand finale of the 2017 Supercar Championship, Plus Fitness is gearing up for what will be the biggest event on the Supercar calendar, the inaugural Coates Hire Newcastle 500.
With a stunning ocean foreshore and a spectacular CBD back drop this event is not to be missed and is expected to bring in over 150,000 new spectators to Newcastle and up to 3 million people tuned in across the nation with all eyes on the local lad and Plus Fitness backed Aaren Russell as he takes on the very best at his new home circuit, the mean streets of Newcastle.
To entertain the crowds across the 3 day event Plus Fitness are set to bring out all the bells and whistles trackside to make this their most successful Supercars event to date and capitalise on mass exposure and further promote the ever-growing Plus Fitness brand. This will include a jumping castle, live feed of the race being played at their activation stand, merchandise as well as a drivers signing table with free poster giveaways.
To add to the appeal and in addition to the Plus Fitness backing of Aaren Russell the gym giants have put their weight behind the other two local drivers at the Newcastle 500 with local girl Charlotte Poynting who leads the women's championship in the Aussie Race Cars category and long-time racing family Steve and Cameron Mason onboard their 1969 Mustang beast in the Touring Car Masters .
This addition to the Plus Fitness portfolio will no doubt see intense interest from local Novocastrians and media outlets alike and will a have huge impact on the brand nationwide. The bold move will no doubt have a huge flow on effect to the four Gym outlets the chain currently has in the Hunter Region, firmly placing Plus Fitness as honourable Novocastrians for this weekend's racing.
